Josh Giddey, an Australian basketball player for the Oklahoma City Thunder, is being investigated by the NBA over allegations of an inappropriate relationship with an underage girl. The investigation was initiated after an anonymous social media user accused Giddey of having an improper relationship with a high school junior. The social media account has since been deactivated . Giddey has declined to comment on the matter. The allegations have sparked intense media scrutiny and could have serious consequences for Giddey’s career.
Josh Giddey’s agent fired for DESPICABLE social media post about Israel – Palestine war – “F**k BLM”
Daniel Moldovan, a former representative of Australian basketball player Josh Giddey, was fired by Octagon, a well-known sports agency, due to his response to a conflicting social media post. This incident is unrelated to the current investigation into Giddey, who has been charged with having inappropriate relations with a minor. Moldovan’s termination is noteworthy progress in the current circumstance, emphasizing the potentially terrible consequences for those associated with this matter.
Ethan Sherwood Strauss, a former writer for The Athletic, reported that Moldovan’s termination was in response to an Instagram post criticizing a Black Lives Matter post endorsing the October 7 Hamas massacre in Israel. Moldovan’s comment sparked questions about the professionalism of those working in the entertainment sector. Despite this, Moldovan will stay on as Giddey’s manager.
According to Octagon, Moldovan’s termination was due to persistent performance issues and a disregard for company policies. It is unclear whether Moldovan’s response to the social media post was a contributing factor to his termination.

Josh Giddey’s agent fired for DESPICABLE social media post about Israel
Josh Giddey’s agent has been fired for reasons having nothing to do with his client’s own controversy.
Giddey, a guard on the Thunder, is facing police and NBA investigations over allegations he had inappropriate relations with an underage girl, although TMZ reported the teen has been refusing to cooperate with the authorities.
One of his agents, Daniel Moldovan, was fired by the large agency Octagon in the wake of a vulgar response to a Black Lives Matter post on social media, journalist Ethan Strauss reported on his “House of Strauss” Substack page.
In the wake of the Hamas massacre on Israel on Oct. 7, the Chicago chapter of Black Lives Matter posted a photo of a paraglider — eliciting imagery from the attacks — with the captions “I stand with Palestine” and “That’s all it is!”
Moldovan, an Australian power agent who is Jewish, lashed out at the BLM post on Instagram.

“72 hours after terrorists paraglided into a music festival and slaughtered 260 young people,” Moldovan wrote at the time.
“This is how BLM chose to symbolize where their support lies. F–k BLM and anybody who supports them.”
BLM Chicago has since deleted its paraglider tweet.
